Isabela Flores de Moura is an Illustrator who was born in São Paulo, but grew up in Porto Alegre, a city located at the south of Brazil. She began studying Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2014, and in 2015 she was chosen for an internship in ceramics under the coordination of the professor and artist Rodrigo Nuñez. However, In 2016, she paused her bachelor’s degree and moved to São Paulo to start a course focused in Illustration in the Escola Britânica de Artes Criativas (in a free translation, “British School of Creative Arts”) where she learned how to use digital medias, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign, as well as how to create and illustrate children’s books. There, she worked as an assistant for the plastic artist and ceramist Paula Juchem. In 2017 she returned to Porto Alegre, where she began working as a freelance illustrator in the Upwork platform. 
Isabela has worked since then with clients such as the Serial Marketer’s principal David Berkowitz, (illustration and editorial design of “Berky’s Marketing English - A Quaint Compendium of Meaning for the Modern Marketer”, 2018); Grasshopper’s Mermaid owner Rose Schneider (2019 - ongoing), Entrada Books (“Harriet the Hornet”, 2020, and “My Dad is a Russian Spy, 2021) and Razi’s World owner Hanan Armali, with whom she collaborated since 2020 with children’s books illustrations, including the whole Razi’s series (Razi Loves to Read, Razi Eats Veggies, Moody, The Lost Snail, Razi and the Colors), Sina Bear/Secret in the Forest and The Beast Book (2021).
She is currently working as a freelance illustrator for Razi’s World and Grasshopper’s Mermaid.
